Timestamping

The Timestamping service offered by CedacriCert is an integral part of its Certification Authority and makes it possible to prove “at a certain time" an operation or the document which is the object of the operation.

With the "timestamping" function it is possible, under the existing legislation, to determine the exact moment at which a document is composed or a message is sent, without necessarily having to be part of a digital signature or PEC system. The Time Stamp, associated with other CedacriCert services, permits the use of electronic documentation and communication processes within existing legislation and generates savings related to the client's business processes.
